The phrase “Out of Obscurity” comes from The Book of Mormon:
…Shake off the chains with which ye are bound, and come forth out of obscurity, and arise from the dust.
(2 Nephi 1:23)
We are group of LGBTQ+ Mormons, loosely defined. We each have ideas, emotions, hopes, memories, regrets and visions. In some of these we differ from each other. This blog is an opportunity for us to talk about the world we see; to bring light to things that were once in obscurity.
